What data we collect
When you create an account and use Daily Rituals, we collect and store:
- Your email address and authentication credentials
- Your daily ritual completion records
- Your sleep logs including bedtime, wake time, and duration
- Your daily notes and Move the Needle scores
- Your Library content including your North Star, quotes, and other personal entries
- Your ritual configuration and schedule preferences
How your data is stored
All data is stored securely in Google Firebase, a cloud platform operated by Google LLC. Your data is stored under your unique account identifier and is accessible only to you. We do not store data on your device beyond a local cache used to improve app performance.
How we use your data
Your data is used solely to provide the functionality of Daily Rituals. We do not sell, share, or distribute your personal data to any third party. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
Google Sign-In
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information from Google as part of the authentication process. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Data retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings screen within the app.
Account and data deletion
You can permanently delete your account and all your data by going to Settings and tapping Delete Account. This action is immediate and irreversible. All your data will be removed from our servers.
Children's privacy
Daily Rituals is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
